🏃 Cross Country - Come join the FMS Cross Country Team!
🏐 Volleyball - Volleyball practices will be held Mondays and Tuesdays before school from 7:30–8:05 AM. The first practice will be Tuesday, September 8th, due to the Labor Day holiday.
The first game is scheduled for Wednesday, September 9th, against First Avenue at DANA MIDDLE SCHOOL. Varsity team plays first unless noted in the schedule.
The game schedule is listed below. Games may change. If games change, athletes and families will be notified.
Varsity plays at 3:30pm, JV plays at 4:30pm unless otherwise noted.

- Athletes are NOT allowed on the field or courts without a Coach present
- Students may NOT leave campus before practices or games to go to McDonald's, Ralphs, etc. then return to campus
- If you are visiting an opposing school (to play or watch a game), you MUST REMAIN OFF CAMPUS until after their school day has finished. You may NOT be on any school campus until the after school bell rings
- Please remember that Athletes are not allowed on the field or courts without a coach present
- Students may NOT leave campus before practices or games to go to McDonald's, Ralphs, etc. then return to campus.
- In the event of last minute, day of, practice cancellations due to changes in schedules, weather, etc., an email will be sent to email address on file- please also be sure to check the athletic website often for updates and changes
- Families must arrange their own transportation to and from all Athletic Activities
- If you are visiting an opposing school (to play or watch a game), you MUST REMAIN OFF CAMPUS until after their school day has finished. You may NOT be on any school campus until the after school bell rings
- For all games scheduled on early release Wednesdays OR Collaboration/Minimum days- students must leave campus after school and return no earlier than 30 minutes before game time. All games start at 3:30pm. Please make arrangements for your athlete to be picked up, then return to campus before game time

We are required to comply with all district and school guidelines/restrictions when visiting and playing at another school. Each school's visitor policy may vary.

ATHLETIC TRYOUTS FOR ALL SPORTS-
- Students must have a 2.0 GPA to participate in all Athletic Programs
- Foothills hosts "Closed Tryouts" which are open to students and coaches only. Parents may pick up students at the conclusion of tryouts in the front of school
- Students must be at school on the day of tryouts for 4 or more periods to participate in tryouts
- Students who are on a current medical exemption or PE Excuse may not tryout unless cleared by their physician prior to tryouts
- There is no transportation provided for away games. Families must arrange their own transportation to all away athletic activities
- There is a required sports fee that must be paid for each sport, once your student makes a team. These fees help to offset the costs associated with participation in the 210 League.
- Students currently enrolled at Foothills are welcome to tryout for Foothills Athletic Teams
