Foothills Athletics

210 League Information 
We are excited for Foothills Middle School to be participating in the 210 Sports League.  Our school will be playing other Arcadia Middle Schools, as well as schools from surrounding districts. This is a competitive league which requires tryouts for each sport. The teams are coached by teachers and staff who are excited to provide opportunities for our students to participate in the League.

 PRACTICE SCHEDULES-PLEASE NOTE- GAME AND PRACTICES ARE WEATHER PERMITTING....please check the Athletic Website frequently for weather updates and changes in the schedule. **Please remember that Athletes are not allowed on the field or courts without a coach present**  Students may NOT leave campus before practices or games to go to McDonald's, Ralphs, etc. then return to campus

GIRLS SOFTBALL-
Girls will practice on Tuesdays from 2:45 pm- 4:00pm
 
**In the event of last minute practice cancellations due to changes in schedules, weather, etc., an email will be sent to email address on file.  Schedule cancellations will not be emailed. **
 
GAME SCHEDULES- PLEASE NOTE- Families must arrange their own transportation to and from all Athletic Activities.  Also, if you are visiting an opposing school (to play or watch a game), you MUST REMAIN OFF CAMPUS until after their school day has finished. You may NOT be on campus until after school has concluded for all Athletic games.  Thank you.

Please note- We are required to comply with all district and school guidelines/restrictions when visiting and playing at another school. Each school's visitor policy may vary.

Students currently enrolled at Foothills are welcome to tryout for Foothills Athletic Teams.
 
**Athletics Jersey washing instructions**- Wash inside out on COLD- no bleach, no fabric softener.   Do not wash with any garments containing Velcro or abrasive fabrics. Air/hang dry only- do not put in dryer.

ATHLETIC TRYOUTS FOR ALL SPORTS- 

- Students must have a 2.0 GPA to participate in all Athletic Programs

- Foothills hosts "Closed Tryouts" which are open to students and coaches only.  Parents may pick up students at the conclusion of tryouts in the front of school

- Students must be at school on the day of tryouts for 4 or more periods to participate in tryouts

- Students who are on a current medical exemption or PE Excuse may not tryout unless cleared by their physician prior to tryouts 

- There is no transportation provided for away games.  Families must arrange their own transportation to all away athletic activities.
