Construction Update

As the first day of school approaches, preparations are being made to ensure that the campus is ready for students.  Much of the hardscapes have been completed, and are on schedule to be ready in time for the first day of school.  Classrooms are being finalized with state of the art instructional technology and other refinements to provide the best possible educational environment for our Highlander scholars.

Please note that at present, the campus is still an active construction zone. In the interest of student safety, please remind your children to stay out of designated construction areas at all times, including outside of school hours and on weekends.  Morning drop-off will follow the same general pattern as last year; please enter the driveway at the front of school and pull forward as far as possible.  Students should exit the right side of your vehicle, and proceed directly into the quad at the center of campus.  As a reminder, students should not be picked-up or dropped-off on Oakhaven west of campus.  Thank you, in advance, for heeding the instructions of crossing guards, and being watchful for pedestrians and cyclists around our neighborhood.

Please check back to our website, as we will update our community on the progress of the Foothills construction project in this space.  We appreciate your patience, we thank you for "pardoning our dust," and we look forward to the start of another outstanding year at Foothills Middle School.
